If Love Were A Season is an album built on the idea that love isn’t meant to stay the same ~ it’s meant to change, to shift, and return in cycles, just like the natural world. Across its songs, the album uses the rhythm of the seasons as a metaphor for the different phases and feelings of love. Each track lives in a different seasonal moment, tracing the arc of a relationship through the emotional landscapes of the year ~ the beginnings, the ease, the turning points, and the moments that test us.​

So much of this album is shaped by my northern roots and natural experiences that feel both familiar and fleeting ~ flowers blooming after spring rain, the golden stretch of summer evenings by the water, stargazing under northern skies, snow glistening after a winter storm The album is my attempt to hold onto those moments, living in that in-between space where memory and emotion blur. I wanted this album to feel like a moment you can step back into, and come back to again and again.
